2nd Team

The 2nd Team currently plays in the Newport & District Premier Division 'Y', and finished in 4th position at the end of the 2006/07 season.

The 2nd Team acts as a reserve side for the 1st Team, and successfully finished Runners-up in the Newport & District Premier Division 'Y' back in 2004/05.

The 2nd Team is managed by former Rogerstone and Albion Rovers striker Jimmy Blackborow, and he is ably assisted by current Rogerstone defender Ray Samuel. Jimmy and Ray work as a great management team and create an excellent atmosphere in the 2nd Team dressing room.

The 2nd Team plays their home games at the Rogerstone Welfare Grounds, which has been upgraded to Gwent County League standard with dugouts and a surrounding pitch barrier.

Training for the three senior teams will begin for pre-season training on Tuesday 1st July, starting at 6.30pm at the Rogerstone Welfare Grounds. Please can all new players interested in signing bring two passport photos along with details of their name, address and date of birth. The Club welcomes old and new players of any football ability.
